The main drawback here is easily one of the selling points: the ergonomics. Though the fisheye & miniature modes are more parlour tricks than anything (anything to be taken seriously), the camera is still feature-rich and can accomodate most any shooting situation.
Seeing at that this camera has now dipped to sub-$150 prices, it is a steal.
